Product Overview
U-shape bolts are primarily used in cargo vehicles to stabilize
chassis and frame components, such as connecting steel plate
springs. These versatile fasteners find applications in
construction, mechanical connections, vehicles, ships, bridges,
tunnels, and railways.
Available Shapes
- Semi-circular
- Square right angle
- Triangle
- Oblique triangle
Material Properties
Our U-bolts offer excellent density, bending strength, impact
toughness, compression strength, modulus of elasticity, tensile
strength, and temperature resistance. Colors can be customized
based on environmental requirements.
Material Options
Available in carbon steel (Q235A, Q345B), alloy steel, and
stainless steel (201, 304, 321, 304L, 316, 316L). Complies with
national standard JB/ZQ4321-2006.
Grade A-193B16 bolts are primarily used in high temperature
applications from 400°C to 595°C. They are made from
chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy steel. They are made of
chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloyed steel. grade B16 bolts have a
mechanical strength similar to grade B7, but the fasteners retain
their strength at elevated temperatures and relax less at elevated
temperatures. grade B16 bolts can be matched with two main grades
of nuts: grades 4 and 7, which are heat-treated chromium-molybdenum
steel nuts suitable for sub-zero conditions down to -48°C. It is
important to mention that A-193 B16 grade bolts are normally used
with Grade 7 (or Grade 4) nuts, as they have similar properties.
A-193 B8 grade bolts are normally used for high temperature
applications from 595°C to 815°C. However, it should be noted that
B8 CL. 1 bolts are not suitable for high temperature applications.
However, it is important to note the difference between B8 CL. 1
and B8 CL. 2. A-193 B8 grade bolts made of 304 austenitic stainless
steel require solution treatment. CL. 1 bolts are not
strain-hardened and have a yield strength of 205 MPa; CL. 2 bolts
are strain-hardened and have a yield strength of 690 MPa. A-194
grade 8 nuts are used in conjunction with A-193 B8 grade bolts are
mated.
Applications
U-bolts with heat tightening are ideal for applications with
internal temperature requirements exceeding 200℃. The thermal
tightening process compensates for thermal expansion gaps, ensuring
secure sealing in high-temperature environments.
Galvanization Advantages
- Superior corrosion protection: Zinc coating isolates metal from moisture
- Cost-effective: More affordable than other corrosion protection methods
- Enhanced properties: Improves strength, toughness, and abrasion resistance
- Long-lasting: 20-25 year lifespan in most environments
- Easy maintenance: Simple repair and inspection processes
